Serve
There are several areas where you can serve at Stone Ridge. A few areas are listed below.
Information Center: Volunteers get to know new people and give them information about Stone Ridge.
Snack Bar Servers: Volunteers serve snacks and milk and orange juice at 9:30 am each Sunday before the worship service.
Coffee Bar Servers: Volunteers come in at 7:30 am and make the different flavored coffees and get them ready to serve in air pots. They set out cups, lids, and other condiments at the coffee bar. Coffee is provided by the Magpie Coffeehouse in Decorah.
Ushers: Ushers are at each of our entrance doors into the sanctuary. They help people find a place to sit, pass out bulletins, and take the offering during the service.
Nursery: Our nursery is staffed with two adult volunteers and one child or teen helper. They are responsible for checking in the children, giving them name tags, supervise and play with the children during the worship service.
Greeters: These people greet people at the front doors as people arrive on Sunday mornings.
Adventure Kidz & Discovery Kidz (Children's Church): Each class has two adult volunteers. They meet during the worship service.
Media: The media volunteers are responsible for the audio and visual components of the worship service and other events at Stone Ridge.
If you are interested in serving in any of these areas, please contact the church office or fill out a Connection Card at the Information Center and check the areas where you would be interested in serving.
